Youth Benefit Concert for SSP

25 05 2008

On Friday, May 23, the group put on a benefit concert. The concert featured performers from the youth group as well as performers from Fullerton Junior College. The performances were excellent and we had left over fundraiser chocolate for concessions. The event was a huge success raising $964.75 for our missions trip. We greatly thank all of those who supported us by buying tickets and concessions.

I’ve been told several different amounts for the fundraiser. The math added up to about five hundred dollars, Amanda said seven hundred dollars, and now its over one thousand? Which one is correct?

What math are you talking about? It may have been $700 with ticket sales or something and then more for donations. She told us $1,000 on Sunday, but ask Jason, he should know…

Someone said we had made three hundred from pre-order tickets, and we counted about two-fifty from the basket. I thought that added up to $550… Is there money coming from somewhere else?

someone gave us a huge donation at the end.
BTW Matthew, I hate you.

Why do you hate Matthew this time Jason. D&D?

I has to be awesome cleric/rogue/assassin!!!!!!!!!

Next week Matthew . . . next week.

Matthew will probably have a somewhat valid excuse next week. Prom is on Saturday, and he will probably complain that that took away all of his time for homework. James will probably use that excuse too.

Actually, I plan to film for a project on Friday (maybe) then do my homework Saturday morning, which should leave Sunday afternoon free…

But, my parents may want “family time” or something…

Or you could find some people who want to play D&D with you. When I moved from Florida, the group I played with there found someone to replace me. If you want to keep playing, you’ll need to find replacments soon enough anyways.

I actually planned to play by myself every weekend after you guys went to college. Besides, I’m stalking Matthew all the way to Davis . . .

By yourself? Am I just gonna kinda fade away after Matthew and James leave?

28 05 2008
JasonM

No, we are going to play one more time, just the two of us, and you will be hit by Finger of Death and then actually die in real life because you were so attached to your character (because his charisma was higher than 4) .

I originally had a dire ape that could cast a quickened finger of death in my campaign, but decided that would be a little extreme.

Because we were level 4?

Hey, just to let ya’ll know, we raised $964.75 on the concert. So, you were all wrong

Who put “over $1000”, was it Matthew?
Good job Matthew. I hope you are killed by Reese’s Dire Monkey’s quickened finger of death. Except we’ll probably both die because Reese has to satisfy his craving for revenge.

You know, the dire monkey for you and the finger of death for me?
Did James ever kill him?

I just wrote what I was told on Sunday…

AND YOU WERE WRONG. Jason must have messed up on your programming.

Whoever thought that programming with a hammer could go wrong?

Did I change the Thought of the Week? I remember doing it, but I don’t know if it saved correctly or if that is the one from last week.

It needs to be changed…

I could have sworn that I had done that already =.=
